My new favorite thing: Kickstarter

I’ve known about the crowd sourcing investment site, Kickstarter, for awhile but I finally decided to give it a whirl last week. Luckily I didn’t have my credit card handy ’cause I could’ve dropped $5,000 easily. Maybe 90% of these projects fail in the long term (I have no idea) but I can’t help but admire the enthusiasm, drive and creativity of some of these people. Here are some of my favorites.

I aspire to have my own airplane someday. This is the one I want:
